“Once In A Lifetime” for All Time Low

All Time Low shows no signs of slowing down. Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the band remains as active as ever since the release of their latest album, Wake Up, Sunshine, last year through Fueled by Ramen.

In place of their usual strict touring schedule to promote the album, the band has ingeniously found alternative ways to engage with their fans. They've been hosting live streams, virtual meet and greets, and other creative initiatives to maintain their connection with the audience.

Their efforts are paying off, especially with the standout track from Wake Up, Sunshine, titled "Monsters," featuring blackbear and Demi Lovato. The song has been steadily climbing the charts, securing the number one spot on Billboard's alternative radio chart and holding that position for an impressive 17 weeks. Moreover, "Monsters" is continuing to make its mark on the Hot 100 chart.

Not resting on their laurels, All Time Low has just dropped a fresh single, "Once In a Lifetime," along with an accompanying music video directed by Max Moore. With this new release, the band is aiming to replicate the success of "Monsters" on alternative radio, as the song begins to impact alternative radio stations right away.

For "Once In a Lifetime," All Time Low has teamed up once again with their trusted collaborators, Zakk Cervini (known for his work with blink-182, Machine Gun Kelly, and Halsey) and Andrew Goldstein (known for his work with Maroon 5, Katy Perry, and blackbear). These talented producers were also behind the success of All Time Low's critically acclaimed 2020 album, Wake Up, Sunshine.

"Once In A Lifetime" carries a profound message of loss and the process of coping with it, as revealed by All Time Low's frontman, Alex Gaskarth. The song delves into the experience of confronting harsh realities and emerging from them with newfound strength. It was penned during challenging times when the world seemed oblivious to its own problems, forcing everyone to navigate uncertain paths. Despite the somber undertones, there's a glimmer of hope throughout the song. It acknowledges that things can only be so dire, and once the storm passes, there's an opportunity to rebuild and start anew. In Alex's view, "Once In A Lifetime" feels like a natural progression and evolution from the celebratory spirit of All Time Low's previous hit, "Wake Up, Sunshine," while also sharing a connection with the essence of their chart-topping track, "Monsters."

We love this track and would give it 4 out of 4 stars.
