Becky G delivered an astounding performance at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday night. Excitement was palpable as fans lined up for the sold-out show, with queues forming inside the venue for both merchandise and refreshments.
Kicking off the evening at 8:00 pm was the Sierreño trio Conexión Divina, who entertained the audience with their original songs and captivating covers of Vicente Fernandez. Each member showcased their musical talents, and midway through their set, additional musicians joined them on stage.
Following them was DJ Awsumo, who amped up the crowd in anticipation of Becky G's performance. His mix included tracks from Latin artists like Elvis Crespo and Mana, along with contributions from Bay Area rapper E-40. Dressed in a black hat and blue jacket, he set the stage for the main act.
Around 9:15 pm, Becky G graced the stage alongside her dancers, donning a distinctive ensemble with pink sleeves, a shiny bra, pants, and white shoes. She began her set with crowd-pleasing hits like "Mayores" and "Fulanito."
The stage itself was a sight to behold, featuring staircases on each side leading to a central platform, crowned by an arc and a dance area.
Expressing her gratitude, Becky G engaged with the crowd and even shared tequila in red cups with some fortunate fans, raising a toast together. She also paid tribute to her idol, Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, wearing a pink hat and performing classics like "Como La Flor" and "Baila Esta Cumbia." Becky G danced alongside her troupe and encouraged the audience to sing along as she directed the microphone towards them.
During her performance of "Dolores," Becky G invited a lucky fan named Abigail to join her on stage, creating a memorable moment that drew an enthusiastic cheer from the crowd.
After a few more songs, the guitarist delivered an impressive solo jam, and Becky G returned in a striking red and blue outfit adorned with the letter G. She closed the night on a high note with her smash hits "MAMIII" and "Shower."
This was an unforgettable performance, leaving fans eagerly anticipating her second headlining tour!
