Pearl Jam announces “Dark Matter” tour

Legendary rockers Pearl Jam have announced an extensive world tour in 2024 to promote their upcoming album 'Dark Matter.' The North American leg of the tour commences on May 4th in Vancouver and runs through September, featuring consecutive performances in major cities such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Boston. Additionally, the tour will venture to Europe and Australia for further shows during the year. In 2023, the band concluded a shorter U.S. tour with special guests Inhaler.

Scheduled for release on April 19th, 2024, through Republic Records and their own Monkeywrench label, Pearl Jam's upcoming album, 'Dark Matter,' will mark their 12th studio release. This record follows their 2020 album, 'Gigaton,' which achieved a #5 position on the Billboard 200 chart. Two years later, the Grammy-winning band initiated their Gigaton Tour, representing their first extensive tour since 2018, during which they made sporadic appearances across South America, Europe, and North America. Since their inception in 1990, the Seattle-based group has amassed sales of over 85 million records worldwide and earned induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
