California Classic returns to Sacramento

On July 3 and 5, the Golden One Center will host the California Classic Summer league. This event will include NBA draft picks from the past few years as well as players from the NBA G League. It will be an exciting time for the players to showcase their game.

The teams featured in this event include the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat. All six teams will compete against each other in the tournament.

Vivek Ranadivé, Owner and Chairman of the Sacramento Kings, expressed his excitement, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome back the California Classic to Golden 1 Center, with the addition of two new teams to the exciting lineup. Taking place from Monday, July 3rd to Wednesday, July 5th, this summer basketball extravaganza will feature triple-header games each day, showcasing all six teams. Similar to other summer league games, modified rules will be in effect, including 10-minute quarters. Additionally, the two-day event promises exciting family-friendly entertainment.
